Majors includes both American and National League divisions. The players are 10, 11 & 12 years old, have to try out and get selected to play on one of the 12 Major League teams. Majors is geared to instruction and competition as each team will typically play three games per week and practice at least once. Games will be played against teams in both AL and NL division and all teams are involved in playoffs.
AAA will consist of 10 & 11 year olds who choose not to play Majors or aren’t selected to a Majors team and 12 year olds who choose not to play Majors. 12 year olds who play AAA will not be able to pitch. The league will include playoffs and an All Star game.
Minors consists only of 9 year olds. It will be structured similar to AAA and will also include playoffs.
Pee Wee is an 8 year old league, which is the youngest age group that falls under Walpole Little League. Coaches start off pitching and after a couple of weeks, kids are encouraged to pitch. Every team participates in a Jamboree at the West Street Complex to conclude the season. The emphasis of Pee Wee is instruction and fun.
